Nitrox diving is available on a daily basis on the Tusa Dive day trip . Nitrox is also available on extended Tusa Dive Charters.

An ANDI Nitrox Course can be completed with Tusa Dive in 2 Days

'Nitrox' or 'Safe Air'
is a N
2/o2 gas mix
with an oxygen content between
22% and 50%.

* Cleaner than normal air from a reputable air fill station
* Less than 0.5mg/cubic metre condensed hydrocarbons
* Prepared by a certified gas blender

* Reduced Surface Interval and extend bottom time on repetitive dives
* Lower gas consumption, (10%)
* Reduced fatigue levels
* Nitrox fill are processed through an oxgen compatible filtration system
* Altitude dives can be done safely

Two Day Nitrox Course (Cost : AU $435:00)

Student Prerequisites:

  • 10 logged dives

Course Includes:

  • Day One: Classroom, covering the theory and practical application of nitrox equipment and filling stations.

  • Day Two: Day on the Great Barrier Reef with Tusa Dive, to complete required two nitrox training dives, whereupon you will receive your internationally accredited ANDI Nitrox certificatio
