If you are planning a scuba diving trip to Australia and/or the Great Barrier Reef and want to have an experience full of made-to-order great memories, then a liveaboard is the dive trip for you! Four dives a day, including a night dive.
All vessels are specifically set up for diving and can provide good value for the traveling diver. They carry fully qualified and experienced dive-masters and instructors who are there to assist you, and if requested or required, will provide you with a guide. In addition to your dive staff there will be a chef to provide you with excellent meals during your day of diving. The evenings are usually finished with some socialising in the lounge area or out on deck. Most have bar facilities on board. Most trips are documented by a videographer and what you see while diving is recorded on film to be viewed in the evening and purchased if so desired.
Just spending the night on the Barrier Reef is an experience in itself. Keep in mind that the reef can be several hours offshore and a living aboard will give you the maximum time at a variety of dive sites. |
