Please note: Australia requires that all open water students complete a diving physical (one that conforms to Australian Standard AS 4005.1) as part of the certification course. Your certifying dive shop will provide the opportunity to complete the physical with a doctor as part of the course. The cost of the physical is approximately $40 Australian, and is in addition to the cost of the certification course.
