Referral Dive Course Certification
A referral dive course is one where you do your pool and theory with a local, hometown dive shop and then complete your open water dives with us on the Barrier Reef.
Referral courses are started daily and include:**
Logbook and dive tables
All diving equipment, (prescription mask if required)
Complimentary refresher pool session if required
Fun and fantastic diving
There are two options available to you:
A) Do your dives aboard the M. V. Sunkist, two dives a day leaving
every morning and returning in the afternoon.
B) Do your dives living and sleeping on the
Outer Great Barrier Reef
If you choose to live aboard the M.V. Kangaroo Explorer
you get the following:
Two or three days living on the reef
Twin or four share air conditioned bunk cabins,
with linen
All meal on board provided
All equipment including torches for night diving
A great time!!
**All dive students are required to have a dive physical, this is per Australian Standards, the approximate cost is $40.00. Please stop in the shop as soon as you arrive in Cairns and we can help arrange one for you.
