If you haven't discovered Atlantis Dive Resort then you haven't "scuba dived" Sydney.   At Atlantis, we pride ourselves on "service and safety".  Enjoy the convenience of easy diving (no lugging of heavy gear), hot showers, washing facilities and drying area. Located at Barrenjoey Boat House, Governor Philip Park, Palm Beach, Sydney, Atlantis operates daily to some of 14 different dive locations, including the "Wreck of the Valient" (which is only half a kilometer off Barrenjoey and in 26 metres of water).  For qualified deep and technical divers, the wreck of the Birchgrove Park, a collier that sank during a storm in August 1956, is approximately 3 kilometers off Palm Beach in 52 metres and is always a spectacular dive (please note: normally done on a charter basis for experienced, qualified group or as one of the early morning dives on the schedule).

The resident scuba diving instructors at Atlantis are Mike and Michele.  Both have a wealth of experience, with a combined underwater time in excess of 22,000 hours -- that's about two and a half years!  Mike has been diving since 1964 (yes, longer than some of you reading this have been alive) and it would be quicker to list the places he hasn't dived!  As an instructor and commercial diver Mike has experienced the undersea world in all it's different moods, and it's this knowledge that makes Atlantis standout from the crowd.  Michele also has a varied and extensive diving career.  He started diving in 1978 in Victoria, and during his 12 years as an instructor he has worked and taught in Fiji, the Whitsunday Islands, Truk Lagoon, on the Fairstar, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.... to name a few. Michele's knowledge gathered from his experiences teaching and working as a commercial diver is passed on to students who undertake any course with Atlantis.  All dive courses may look the same -- the difference is the instructor.
